This policy explains what personal information Drivine Tire & Auto (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, by phone and text, and at our shop at 812 Richmond Hwy, Richmond, VA 23224, how we use it, and who we share it with.
What personal information we collect
- Information you give us. When you use our booking form, call, text or visit the shop: your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details (year, make, model, VIN, mileage), the service you need, your preferred date, and anything you write or send us, including photos you text.
- Text message details. Your mobile number, whether you agreed to receive texts from us, and the content of messages between you and the shop.
- Service records. Work performed on your vehicle, estimates, invoices and payment records. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the website, our hosting provider and any analytics or advertising tools we use (such as Google Analytics or Google Ads) may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site, using cookies or similar technology.
How we use your information
- To respond to your requests, give quotes, and schedule and perform service on your vehicle.
- To send the text messages you have agreed to receive, such as appointment confirmations and reminders, quotes, service updates and replies to your questions.
- To keep service and warranty records, process payments and meet our legal and tax obligations.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it and our advertising.
- To protect our customers, our shop and our website from fraud and misuse.
Who we share personal information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these cases:
- Service providers that help us run the business, such as our website host and form processor, our phone and text messaging provider, our shop management software and our payment processor. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
- Financing providers (Affirm, Klarna, Koalafi, Snap Finance or Sunbit), only if you choose to apply for financing with them.
- Legal reasons, when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
- Business transfer, if the shop is sold or reorganized, to the new owner, who must follow this policy.
Text messaging (SMS) privacy
SMS consent is not shared with third parties. We do not share or sell SMS opt-in data, consent, or phone numbers for the purpose of SMS with any third party. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies and your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google’s advertising personalization at adssettings.google.com and of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. The site works without cookies.
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below. We may need to keep some records, such as invoices and service history, where the law requires it.
How long we keep information and how we protect it
We keep personal information for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet legal, tax and warranty requirements, then delete it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no website or transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
